let’s walk lamma island

The moment i stepped out of the ferry, i knew i was going to love this charming little
island – laid back, simple and surrounded by natural scenery. There was no need to look
out for fast traffic as you strolled along the streets, the only means of transport was by
foot or bicycle.

Small grocery stores and shops that sell all kinds of foods, necessities and handicrafts

Various kind of eatery choices

Low-rise houses. Buildings higher than three storeys high are prohibited (info from wiki)

Tin Hau Temple

Not too sure what this was, but it looked like a storage area

Beautiful feather-like leaves

The famous Ah-Por beancurd pudding, we love it!

The walk to the beach wasn’t far, but the weather that day was at a high 33ºC, which
made it a bit of a torture to walk under the scorching heat

Walking back to the town for late seafood lunch

A few more shots of the awesome scenery before heading back to the pier

On our way back and enjoying cool sea breeze on the upper deck of the ferry

This was the only place that i managed to visit while in Hong Kong before i fell really ill.
i spent the rest of the trip sleeping and watching telly on the hotel bed. Oh well, there’s
always another time...
